
Personal information and the Data Protection Act 1998
Any personal information which we collect from you will be used solely to enable us to provide you with legal services in respect of making a personal injury claim.
Any information we collect from you will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will keep your personal information confidential and not disclose it to another party, except to the extent that it is necessary to disclose it by law, or to comply with a regulatory or legal process, or where we need to disclose the information to provide a product or service that you have requested. We will always advise you before this happens.
Under the Data Protection Act 1998, you have the right to see details of the personal data we maintain on you. To do this, simply write to us at the following address detailing your request:

We will respond to all requests within 28 days of receiving your request.
We will take all sensible steps to confirm your identity before providing you with details of any personal information we may hold about you.
Marketing
We would like to contact our clients with information about other products or services we believe may be of interest to them. If you do not wish us to use your information in this way, please send an e-mail with the words: 'REMOVE ME FROM YOUR MAILING LIST', in the subject box to: privacy@nowclaim.com.
Other Information
You should also be aware that communications over the internet, such as e-mails, are not secure unless they have been encrypted. Your communications may route through a number of countries before being delivered - this is the nature of the internet. Claims Advice Bureau cannot accept responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of personal information that is beyond our control.
Disclosure of funding
If you have been injured as a result of an accident and you require the assistance of a solicitor, we will refer your case to a specialist personal injury Solicitor. As part of the arrangement for referring your claim, we receive from the solicitors a payment which will be between £50 -£1,100 depending on the case type and complexity of your claim. This arrangement in no way affects your potential compensation, and takes into account the work undertaken by us.
By way of example only, this could include marketing expenses, investigation costs, dealing with non-cost bearing cases, providing training and/or advice or provision of services to the referrer in other cases.
