What makes a valid claim?

Generally speaking a trip hazard on a pavement must be raised or lowered 1" or more from the surrounding area. If you trip on a public highway, the law states that the defect must be 1.5" in depth.

This is dependant on many different factors as Councils have a responsiblity to maintain the areas that we all use in public.
